Most of the 3.0d BMW Engines require less than 10 litres of oil, so you will have some left over for top ups when/if required
BMW advise fairly long intervals between services, in some cases upto 20,000 miles…. If you service at 10,000 or annually you won’t be doing any harm to you car. Its extra maintenance and not very expensive…and may help save you some issues in the future
